Nuggets' Anthony nabbed on DUI suspicion (AP)

AP - NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony was arrested early Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, hours after his worst game of the season. The Denver Nuggets forward was arrested on Interstate 25, police said. He was alone in the car and pulled over for weaving and not dimming his lights.

The grip is an important part of Golf. Since the only connection between us and the club is our grip, the grip is the most basic and fundamental aspect of the Golf swing that determines the outcome of the Golf swing before we even swing the club. How we hold the club will directly influence our Golf swing, as we try to square the club face to the ball.

There are 3 different types of grips for Golf. Here are the 3 grips.

Grip #1: A Strong Grip

In this grip, the right hand is below the shaft, with the right palm slightly facing up wards. When we return the club face to the ball at impact, the club face has a tendancy to close shut, meaning the club face will point to the left.

Grip #2: A Weak Grip

A weak grip is the opposite of the Strong Grip, with the palm of the right hand facing slightly down when gripping the club. Weak grips are generally not good because it promotes a slice.

Grip #3: Neutral Grip

This is the ideal grip, Tiger Woods has a neutral grip. It gives the most control and allows you to fade or draw the shot. Shot making is much easier with this grip. The palm of your right hand is facing the target at address, and you can see your left 2 knuckles from your left eye.

If you're starting out in Golf, I suggest gripping your club constantly, until the neutral grip becomes second nature to you. Good Golfing!
